2010年代におけるデザインは、情報社会の広がりによって、これまで以上に拡大された領域をつないでいく役割を担うことになるでしょう。その中で時代とともに生きる私たちデザイナーは、コミュニケーション環境の変化に対して常に反応し、進化し続けていく必要があります。このような淀むことのない急流をゆくデザイン社会においてでも、変わらずに存在し続ける「正しさ」という基準。シーナリー・オブ・デザインは、それこそが本質と考え、「正しさ」をデザインワークの中心に据えて活動を続けています。デザインを通じて、人それぞれの見えている景色（scenery）を少しでもよいものに変えることができる。身近な人でも、クライアントでも、知らない誰かでも。そんな小さな奇跡を起こすために少しずつアプローチを続けています。　ryo sugi　杉 怜 （すぎ・りょう）／1981年、宮崎県出身。2003年、東京デザイン専門学校卒業後、インデペンデントレコード会社（株）インパートメント入社。同年デザイン部を立ち上げ、これまでに約200タイトルのCDジャケットデザインを手がける。独立後は、scenery of designとして活動と並行して、アートディレクター川上俊主宰のデザインエージェンシー　artlessのデザインチーム（artless collective）のメンバーとしても、多くのデザインプロジェクトに参加。
